***** Honey Soundsystem (San Francisco) *****
"Genius, history-compressing sets that melted my panties into a sugary lump." - San Francisco Guardian
Formed in January 2006, Honey started turning heads with their cunning ad campaigns, decadent themes, private warehouse parties and of course their floor stomping DJ sets. They have hosted DJ's from around the world, including Todd Terje, Horse Meat Disco, Prosumer, Solar, Hercules & Love Affair, Discodromo, Cosmo Vitelli, DJ Spun, Eric Duncan, DJ Kaos, Kim Ann Foxman, Neon Leon, and Trocodero Transfer legends Steve Fabus and Bobby Viteritti.
In 2009 The crew became instrumental in the release of never before heard music from San Francisco producer Patrick Cowley. The release of the Catholic record on Macro Records was followed by a month long exhibition the crew produced on the life and times of Cowley. In 2010 Honey released a full-length compilation of like-minded producers from around the globe. Brotherhood came in at number two on JUNO’s chart in its first month of release (just behind Tiesto!).
In 2011 the crew's record label HNYTRX saw its fourth release and a series of HNY mega-parties at Public Works brought thousands to the dancefloor and raised over $6,500 in contributions to the GLBT Historical Society.
Individually, crew members have been changing the landscape of music with record labels (Discaire, Dark Entries, MR.INTL), live sets (Robot Hustle's all analog synth project), appearances in NYC, London, Berlin, & at their notorious weekly Sunday party at the Holy Cow in "the most sexually abrasive & peculiar district in town".

Chris Burns (Deep Sugar/IDIB-GDM, DC) has been an underground mainstay in Washington, D.C. for the past 4 years as a leading underground DJ, promoter and now, producer. His faith in adapting the new while honoring the best of the past has led him to play with countless house music heroes and has spurned recent collaborations with industry veterans. Forthcoming remixes and original productions for Ultra Nate's Deep Sugar, Italians Do It Better and IDIB's new dance oriented sub-label, GDM, hold great promise for the "young blood."http://chrisburnsdc.com/
***** RAW DJs Bil & Shea (DC) *****
Since 2009, Bil Todd and Shea Van Horn have been throwing their monthly RAW party at the Green Lantern, playing obscure variations of current artists, along with classic dance records and deep, progressive cuts.
