THE 202 Presents: DJ Marcus P.I.

Come out and support the Music and Art community in DC. This night's not going to be about top 40, circuit, etc (we've got enough of that over the past ~20 years, right?) - instead you can expect some trap, baltimore + jersey club music, broken beat, breakbeats, garage, ballroom, tropical bass, uk funky, raved-out reworkings of familiar r+b classics, a bit o' house and randomness for good measure.

Come early to attend the POP-UP art show on the main floor featuring Local DC artist Joshua Copeland for Happy Hour 5-9.

From there on DJ MARCUS P.I. spinning in the back dance hall.

Bottle service please email: the202cool@gmail.com

International Dining in DC: El Tamarindo

El Tamarindo

1785 Florida Ave.  NW
Washington DC 20009

El Tamarindo specializes in Mexican & Salvadorian food.  After a long search for a Mexican restaurant, I knew I didn't want to go where everyone else goes Lauriol Plaza!!!  So I found this place which had been right in front of my face the whole time.  Cheap food and drinks and large plates of food.  The service was good and the outdoor seating was open in front of the restaurant so we took advantage of that fast before it was packed!  I recommend El Tamarindo to any of those crowded places.  You get more bang for your buck here!

Erik Brooks 1985-2012

Another friend has passed away!  This is the third one since the beginning of the year!  It's truly sad for me to see my friends so young to pass away because of something that could have been dealt with.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
