Art Exhibits

Smithsonian American Art Museum's Kogod Courtyard on Thursday will host an event with the D.C. band Urban Funk.  Blending R&B, Jazz and Latin sounds, the band will perform while the ARTJAMZ group offers a studio where guest can paint durning the concert.  Attending the event is FREE, but there's a 40$ fee for painting, to register visit HERE.  Thursday 16. 5pm

The National Building Museum  will not be charging a fee for entry.  Since it's opening in 1985, the museum has been free, but with economic problems the country is facing they are taking things into their own hands.  I will miss going here.  the exhibits are pretty cool if your into that stuff.  The fee goes into effect on June 27.   8$ for adults, and 5$ for youth.  Check out the website for me information.
