Biking in DC

Biking in DC

DC is notorious for traffic, the Metro is a good way to get to and from work if you live in the burbs, but what about us city dwellers?  Seems like North America is becoming the new China with cities taking advantage of these bike programs popping up all over.  It's healthy, cheap, and reliable with plenty of stations to pick-up and drop-off.  Over the last couple of year's DC has also upgraded their street grids with bike lanes, and this has helped with the people who were afraid to get on the road with those crazies behind the wheel.  More than 300K rides have been logged since the start of the program on Sept 20.  Capital Bike share has over 100 stations and they are expanding into NOVA as well.   Take a look at these videos and links.

Happy Riding.

Don't let this happen.
