This party is sure to be a hit, just like the sister Museum across the way, the Asian Museum of Art's After Hours, and the Hirshorns After hours series. Africa Underground opens the doors of the National Museum of African Art after hours to the public to enjoy the museum's stunning exhibitions and features performers, dancing, light refreshments and drinks.
The inaugural event highlights the creativities of mix Media artist Sandile Zulu (South Africa) and Henrique Oliveira (Brazil) presented in the exhibition Artist in dialogue 2 and features African beer, Brazilian cocktails, performances by Zezeh Brazil Samba and Afro-beats spun by Dj's Adrian Loving and Munch.
