New DC-based magazine, The Intentional Quarterly, invites you to celebrate the launch of the first issue with an elaborate celebration on April 5th, 2013. After a year of intense brow-wiping and nail-biting, we're finally ready to unveil our first highly designed, beautifully bound and sharply written print issue. We're psyched to share the articles, art and literature we've curated, and we can't wait to discuss them with you over cocktails.
This private event will be hosted at mad momos' beautiful, expans...ive venue, including both floors and plenty of outdoor space. Come lend a hand with interactive art installations and dance to live music by local band SHARK WEEK. And, of course, be among the first to take home this much-anticipated magazine!
We will be whipping up a special cocktail for purchase at the bar, and the kitchen is open to those who have not yet tried the momos (which you must). The Pink Line Project is the official media partner for this event, and BYT will be making an appearance, as well.
Suggested attire is celebratory. You are likely to be heavily photographed - so, you know, choose carefully.
Two ticket options are available beforehand on the eventbrite page:
$8 - Admission only
$15 - Admission + the first issue (cover price $12). Math is not our strong suit, but we think that's a pretty solid discount.
Alternatively, tickets are $10 at the door, but space is limited.
Doors at 9, music begins at 10.
