International Dining in DC

1336 U st.  NW
Washington DC

Tabaq has one of the best views from their rooftop glass enclosed top level, During nice weather the windows are open and roofs are open, You can see the capital, Washington monuments and most of the city from this U. St. Location, great date spot of place to grab a bite before going out with friends.  It does get very crowded in the top level as that is where everyone wants to be.  The first level is a sit down area and bar that turns into a club. And the second level is a bar area/gallery space, and third is the rooftop.  I found this spot while looking for a place to hold my 30th Birthday party and it was such a success.  The food is small tapas-style.  Great wine selections.  They do have live music on the thursdays and Fridays.  Below is a picture of what my friend had.  They do have a brunch, I haven't yet seen the menu.  But be sure to check this spot out.

Casa Oaxaca
2106 18th St.  NW
Washington DC

What to say about the best mexican restaurant in DC.  mmmm YUM, Best Mole EVER, If you are a foodie like me, then you will come to Casa Oaxaca!  Located in an old row-house in Adams Morgan,  You are greeted by loud mexican music and a hello from the bartender!  Bar stools are cow hid, and the decor is off the hook.  Ordering is so hard to do as everything sounds so good.  Be sure to check out their happy hour specials for drinks and appetizers.  Try the grass hoppers!!!  YUM
a basic cheese dish with several small flour patties to make little tacos.

I totally forgot what this was, we were having fun with so many dishes, but this is like a cornbread type thing with chicken wrapped in banana leaves.
