OK Lots to talk about this week! First week in 2012 and there is a bunch of news in the retail sector.
One is that Melody Records located on Conn Ave. in DuPont will be closing after 25 years in business.
Another loss to DC is Love Cafe located at 15th and U St. which sits across from the famed Cake Love bakery which started this whole cupcake war here in DC.
Here is some good news, The English brand YO!Sushi will be opening two locations here in city, one in Union Station and the other where the old CVS was in Chinatown right in front of the Chinatown Friendship gate.
Also I posted a link to this one time favorite of mine, Crepes-Go-Go closes in DuPont located on P St. that location will turn into a hair salon. BLAH
Well We like to see things pop up all over, but we will miss some of the beloved places I have known to love in this city.
