Join Matt Abbruzzese and the Meridian Hill Neighborhood Association who will be hosting a benefit for Operation Warm and Firefighters Coats for Kidsat Diego Mexican Restaurant on Thursday, December 5th, 2013!
Come to Diego next Thursday evening from 6-10:00pm for a cocktail or two and taste some of D.C.'s Finest Mexican Cuisine! I'm throwing this fundraiser to kick off the holiday season the right way by giving back to the underserved children in Washington, D.C. We encourage donations of at least $10 at the door ($32 provides a new coat for a child).
The proceeds will support the Washington, D.C. Firefighters fundraising campaign to provide less fortunate D.C. children with brand new, American-made coats!

*Many have asked me "where can I bring used coats though?" -Great point! In addition to our highly encouraged contribution through a monetary donation of at least $10 per person at the door, you can also bring your used coats to the event! Myself & MHNA will retrieve used coats for recycled use just before entry, as well! What a fantastic event we've got in store for the community, so please mark your calendars and keep in mind that it's to help the poor children in D.C.
