For June, Gayborhood Watch heads uptown a bit to celebrate our Columbia Heights pride. Happy hour will coincide with the launch of "homo-momo" nights at Mad Momos, an exciting new bar, restaurant and beer deck at 14th & Perry Place. Mad Momos is a gay-owned and operated business that aims to be a gathering place for the LGBTQ community.
If you live, work or play in CoHi or the adjacent neighborhoods of Petworth, Mt. Pleasant or AdMo, your presence is required. Come fraternize with the gaybors over a beer or cocktail. Bring your best jokes and stories of misadventures at Target. Wear plaid and roll up one leg of your jeans if it pleases you. And be sure to invite an uptown queer who hasn't heard about us yet.
