Join President Obama with First lady Michele Obama and First Family on Thursday for the lighting of the tree festivies start at 5pm. President Obama will light the tree around 6pm.This years celebrations will include hip hop artist Common who will serve as master of the ceremonies and Blues legend B.B King pop stars Maroon 5, Sara Bareilles and the 10 year old fan fav and phenomena from America's got talent Jackie Evancho and Washington Dc's very own Duke Ellington school of arts choir will also be on hand.
Santa will even be making a special appreance for you little kids.
Tickets to this event have been given out already, but you can watch the entire show on WETA on Friday Dec 10 at 9pm.
