MODA for MEN : Fall Fashion 2013

Let's start with shoes!!  I've said it once, I will say it again, I think all men need staples in their wardrobe.  And, Here is one now!, Boots wether brown or black, you should have a pair.  A boot goes with almost EVERYTHING in your wardrobe.

Also is a loafer or oxford of some kind, so you can dress it up or dress it down with these shoes.  wether with jeans or slacks you'll have the outfit going in the right direction!

Denim Jackets

The Denim jacket has been around for years, It's had it's up's and downs but, It's defiantly a staple in a man's wardrobe!  Dress it up or dress it down, lounge around the house, or go hiking with a denim Jacket!

Leather

Leather patterns are coming with pieces showing up in major men's clothing stores!  You will see pants made of all leather (faux) sweaters with leather patches on the shoulder, or jean jackets with leather arms.  It's a very 80's thing to do, but it's more chic with basics.

Harem Pants

As mush as I didn't like them when I first spotted them, I'm holding back and regrets now!  They have grown on me.  Now I wouldn't call it a staple to have in your wardrobe, I do think it would be a change of scenery.

Scarfs

The bigger the better, that's all I'm saying!

Pant Patterns

I've been seeing a lot of patterns coming in for men on pants and denim as well.  Tons to choose from, just make it work!!  Don't go over board.

Whatever you do this Fall for your Fashion, Make it you and don't care what others may think!  Be yourself!

SPOTLIGHT

New restaurants BARCELONA

tons of new restaurants opening along the 14th street corridor, I took these pictures of a newly built Barcelona restaurant that was the old Body smith gym and court yard!

International Dining in DC: Smash Burger

1739 Connecticut Ave.  NW
Washington DC

Just walking by and was hunger, decided to try it out!!!  WOW.. The burgers are YUMMY!  I ordered a BIG smash, which is where they smash the burger even more, it literally hangs off your bun!  The fries were delicious as well, not like normal nasty fries.  and the milk shakes are to DIE for!!  The staff was very helpful on telling us what was what and how to order and just plain NICE!  very clean restaurant.

International Dining in DC: Ted's Bulletin

1818 14th St.  NW
Washington DC

I have been waiting for this new location to open since hearing about it months ago!  I rarely trek over to Cap Hill, so this is much better being down the street from me!  Ok, so this location is much bigger and lots more room!  LOTS!  I love the front bar area, you can also grab a bit there as well like the old location, but then they have more stools inside the dining room area which makes it look like a diner!  the dining room area is roomy with lots of sunlight and windows, unlike the original location they have a skylight only!  The one thing you must must must do is stop by the bakery to check out the doughnuts and pop tarts!!!  they have a separate entrance just for the bakery if you are running in and out real quick.  I love everything about Ted's down to the old movies they play on the televisions with tin foil on the antenna.  the atmosphere is 40-50s diner with polish seating and old school chairs!

Check out any of the locations.
