Hurricane Sandy

DC has become a party town since learning of the hurricane coming with hurricane party's and people breaking out with an extra two days now off from the Federal Government being closed!!

Drink up everyone and be safe!

I can just see it now, a baby boom from this hurricane with people being indoors for two days.

YUMMY-NESS

If you follow me on here and on Facebook, you probably know I have set out to find the best authentic Belgian waffles here in Washington DC!  I have found only one place and then my friend had told me about something he found at Whole Foods....  OMG frozen Belgian waffles how could they!!!!

I went seeking out these waffles in the Frozen/Breakfast aisle.  Bought them and immediately cooked them up!!  HOLLY HELL they taste the same as the restaurant version.  These are great and I tell you to go get several packs TODAY.

Bike Racks!!!

If you have a bike, I'm hoping you know how to lock it up, the right way!

Also I would like to point out that BIKE racks are for BIKES only not your SCOOTER or MO-PED.  next time i see this, I will be taking a souvenir!

International Dining in DC : Cafe DuPont

1500 New Hampshire Ave.  NW
Washington DC

Cafe DuPont, there is just something about eating in a Hotel that makes me feel like I'm visiting that city!  Well I tend to like to eat at restaurants that are in Hotels here in DC, because they are so good.  After the remodeling of the restaurant and under new management the Hotel.  the place looks FANCY!!

I love people watching and this is the spot right on Dupont Circle where everything is happening.  Sitting outside is the best while sipping an espresso.  The brunch is very good.  I usually get the Eggs Benedict.

The staff is very nice but a bit slow in that department at coming around to check the table.

Over all the place is clean and desirable.

Halloween Bike Ride

The next DCBP is this Saturday, October 27th. We’ll be meeting at the DuPont Circle Fountain at 8:30pm, and we’ll take off at 9:00 sharp. We’ll be making a pit-stop at the Oak Hill Cemetery, heading down Pennsylvania Avenue to Chinatown before heading to Duffy’s Irish Pub to put the party in DC Bike Party. We are encouraging everyone to wear a costume.
