ARCHER is proud to kick off the year with a lecture and presentation by acclaimed architects Hugh Newell Jacobsen FAIA, and Simon Jacobsen, principals at Jacobsen Architecture. The conversation will revolve around the origins and ethos of the firm's highly acclaimed recent furniture collection at ARCHER in relation to their numerous projects around the world.
Best known for their modern pavilion-based residences, Jacobsen Architecture's grand yet intimately scaled pavilions combine elements of early American architecture with modern unadorned façades, open-plan interiors and emphasis on indoor-outdoor living. To date the firm has realized more than 400 private homes, including residences for Meryl Streep and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
