International Dining in DC: Kramerbooks & Afterwards Cafe

KRAMERBOOKS & Afterwords Cafe & Grill
1517 Connectuiut Ave.  NW
Washington DC

Brunch/Lunch/Dinner or even a date, this is the perfect spot to meet up at and chit chat away!  The book store is a great place to look around for books while you wait on friends or a date!, also there is a side bar and then the restaurant area and outdoor seating.  this is a be-seen place.  The Obama's frequent the spot with their girl's.

More like bar food, but it's an OK spot for something small and something to chat over.

The wait staff that I had was a little rude and took his time on getting us more drinks.  But the bathrooms were a hike to get to!  ;o)

Beef Salad

Chicken Club sandwich

I give Kramer's 3 out of 5.

International Dining in Washington DC: Serendipity 3

3150 M St.  NW
Washington DC

This location open about a year ago to great fan fare.  The original location is in NYC and was frequented by some great artist of those past years Andy Warhol, Truman Capote and others.  It was a hang out of sorts.  The location in DC has the same flare but it's filled more with children looking to be cool and looking for a place to eat after shopping with mom and dad's money.

The food is more like bar food, but they are LARGE portions!  VERY Large.  The deserts are good, I mean you can't really go wrong with those.  If you want a banana split come here or any other yummy dish.

But I would give this place a 3 out of 5

Chris Pontius DC United

I was out at Lost Society last night and I turn around on the patio and Chris Pontius is standing there at the railing looking out over U St.  His group of friends and him, were about to leave and I totally felt like a nerd cause I was at a club, but I asked for a picture with him!  I love DC United and he's one of the star players for the team so I couldn't let this opportunity go!
