International Dining in DC

Crepes-a-go-go
Another adventure into the DC food scene, but if you have never tried a crepe (definition) (A crêpe (English pronunciation: kreɪp/, French: [kʀɛp]; Breton: krampouezhenn) is a type of very thin pancake (usually made from wheat flour). The word is of French origin, deriving from the Latin crispa, meaning "curled." While crêpes originate from Brittany, a region in the northwest of France, their consumption is nowadays widespread in France and they are considered a national dish. In Brittany, crêpes are traditionally served with cider. Crêpes are served with a variety of fillings, from the most simple with only sugar to flambéed crêpes Suzette or elaborate savoury fillings) you must try this place. I was brought to this little hole in the wall by my best friend Eduardo, who was taken here by his friend and so on and so on you get the deal! Crepes on the GO is a laid back place and an easy on the go food or just people watch along P st. the large menu will have you staring for a while, but you will choose quick from what catches your eye! and sit outside and watch the guys make the crepes AMAZING huh!!! I give this place 5 stars

Veranda
Located at 1100 p st. veranda is a quite little charming corner bistro that serves Greek & Italian dishes and some good wines. walking by this place many times on my way to Eduardo's place I finally wanted to find out what all the fuss was about, it was always crowded outside and people waiting to get a seat, So we made our way there got a nice corner spot and ordered the half roasted chicken and some hummus and wine. WOW delicious the wait staff was amazing and the owner was happy to see new comers and regulars! outside seating is a must if the weather permits but the inside has a cozy European feeling with a bar. I give Veranda 5 stars http://www.verandaonp.com/
